Challenging at times, but still pretty solid. I learned a lot this year, worked with a ton of amazing clients, and I look forward to seeing where 2016 takes me!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2015 RECAP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see how I did with my 2015 personal goals:<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, my goals for 2015 are mostly personal goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><del>Begin therapy<\/del> to conquer my social anxiety (<del>or at least learn how to cope with it<\/del>);<\/li>\n<li><del>Maintain a consistent exercise schedule and run a half marathon in May<\/del> (and possibly another in September);<\/li>\n<li><del>Take positive steps toward becoming the best version of myself I can be<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Spend more time with my husband and our family<\/del>; and<\/li>\n<li>Travel to Europe with my husband, taking a proper vacation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As for business goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete both books and have them published;<\/li>\n<li><del>Present and KILL IT at Learning Solutions 2015<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Continue networking with colleagues I respect<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Continue working\u00a0with clients I respect<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Conduct various workshops at the university and encourage growth within our distance offerings<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Overhaul my portfolio<\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Participate more actively in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.articulate.com\/articles\/elearning-challenges\" target=\"_blank\">ELH Challenges<\/a><\/del>;<\/li>\n<li><del>Continue blogging regularly<\/del>; and<\/li>\n<li>Begin authoring\u00a0my third book.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, I feel like I did pretty good with my 2015 goals &#8211; I also completed the <a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelearningconsortium.org\" target=\"_blank\">Online Learning Consortium&#8217;s <\/a>Teaching Certificate, 19 E-Learning Heroes Challenge entries and wrote 38 Terminology Tuesday posts. However, there&#8217;s still lots of work left to do in 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2016 GOALS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Personal goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Slow down and take more time to enjoy the present;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Maintain a consistent exercise schedule;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Rehabilitate my jaw;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Spend more time with my husband and our family; and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Travel to Colorado and Iceland with my husband.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slow down, take on fewer clients (than in 2015), and work on fostering long-term working relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Continuing networking with colleagues I respect;<\/li>\n<li>Speak at 1-2 e-learning events;<\/li>\n<li>Publish my 2nd book;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct more workshops and speaking engagements at the university, continuing to promote online learning;<\/li>\n<li>Learn a new skill;<\/li>\n<li>Participate regularly in the Articulate E-Learning Heroes Challenges; and<\/li>\n<li>Blog regularly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2015 was a great year!
