{"id":1003,"date":"2015-06-09T08:23:28","date_gmt":"2015-06-09T11:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ashleychiasson.com\/blog\/?p=1003"},"modified":"2015-06-09T08:24:56","modified_gmt":"2015-06-09T11:24:56","slug":"terminology-tuesday-time-lapse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashleychiasson.com\/blog\/terminology-tuesday-time-lapse\/","title":{"rendered":"Terminology Tuesday: Time-Lapse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have a little time-lapse demo up my sleeve for a future post, so I thought it might be relevant to first define time-lapse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>What is Time-Lapse?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Time-lapse is a photography technique that involves taking a series of photos of one object over time and stringing those still photos together, often in video format, to illustrate change over a duration of time. When strung together, the video is often sped up and the\u00a0result is one of my favourites. I could watch time-lapses all day long!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A great example of this photographic technique in action can be seen in the documentary <a href=\"https:\/\/chasingice.com\" target=\"_blank\">Chasing Ice<\/a>. If you haven&#8217;t seen it, you really should check it out!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Using Time-Lapse Demos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When I create a time-lapse, I don&#8217;t do it in the same manner as photographers would.
